Mutator 1+2 Symposium

A one day symposium, held at The Phoenix Gallery, to explore the boundaries between art and science.

Key speakers included:

  • Paul Brown, Honorary Visiting Professor, Sussex University.

  • Sally-Jane Norman, Professor of Performance Technologies and Director of the Attenborough Centre at the University of Sussex.
  • Bonnie Mitchell, Bowling Green State University.
  • Dr. Parashkev Nachev, Lecturer at the Institute of Neurology, University College London.

The symposium concluded with a panel discussion around the question ‘what is the future of digital art?’ The panel included:

After the symposium there was a private view of Mutator 1+2: Evolutionary Art by William Latham with a surprise art performance organised by Sue Gollifer.
